JO SERRANO
I’m Jo Serrano, a proud Texas-born photographer raised in Lubbock, where wide open skies and strong community roots shaped my love for storytelling and meaningful connection. For over a decade, I’ve been photographing weddings, families, and special events, and I truly believe there’s nothing more rewarding than preserving the moments that matter most.
My journey with photography started when I was just 9 years old, after my mom gave me my very first camera. From that moment on, I began seeing the world differently, through light, emotion, and all the little in between moments that often go unnoticed. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a lifelong passion, and today it’s the heart behind everything I do.
I’m drawn to the real, unscripted moments, the laughter you didn’t plan, the quiet glances, the happy tears. Those are the memories that deserve to be held onto. My goal is to create images that don’t just look beautiful, but feel like you, honest, natural, and full of life.
When summer rolls around, you will usually find me out exploring the beauty of Texas, hiking rugged trails, visiting Big Bend, or spending evenings at my local hometown rodeo under the Texas sun. Those experiences continue to inspire my work and keep me connected to the place I love most.
At the end of the day, I am here to do more than take photos. I am here to create lasting keepsakes of your story, with a warm, easygoing approach that makes you feel right at home.

“Believe in a love that is being stored up for you like an inheritance, and have faith that in this love there is a strength and a blessing so large that you can travel as far as you wish without having to step outside it.”
Rainer Maria Rilke
